The Rzeszów’s Metropolitan Area Network (RMSK) was established under agreement between local Rzeszów Universities in 1994. The mission of Rzeszów’s MAN is to ensure access to Internet and provide basic network services for Rzeszów academic community.

  RMSK is a member of the Pioneer consortium (Polish Optical Internet) – a nation-wide research and educational network allowing Rzeszów’s scientists, teachers and students to exchange ideas with 20 other academic communities in Poland, who are connected via a dedicated fibre-optic network – and providing access to important academic networks world-wide.
